It was my 1st time going. It was hard for me to relax mainly because I couldn't get the music to work and well...music is one of those things that are a major key for me. I basically just ping pong myself around for the 90 mins 😔....BUT I definitely would try it again in hopes for a better experience and actually do some relaxing

This was my first float experience and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The front desk attendant was very good about walking me through all the things to do and very friendly. I was a little nervous about feeling claustrophobic, but the tank room I was in did not feel stifling at all! Showers are in the room, along with all the things you will need to enjoy your floating experience. Shampoo, conditioner (after your float, not before), bodywash, a mild vinegar solution should your ears get a little of the float soak in them. They supply ear plugs, that worked well, towels for your after soak shower. I have tinnitus and I was a little worried all I would hear would be the ringing in my ears, but after a few minutes that actually went away! I was more fascinated by not being able to tell where my body ended and the water began. I would recommend a pool noodle to support your head and arms a bit.... I found this really helpful. I slept so well that night - I struggle with insomnia and it had been months since I've had a good nights sleep! Aches and pains went away and I felt as if I'd had a massage after. Would recommend this place absolutely! Go get yer float on! Like being wrapped in a warm, cozy cloud.

The float went from existential, to brain making shadow patterns, to rotating myself, to a boredom feeling, to a totally zoned out nothingness before the light and music kicked on. When it was over I felt incredibly calm. Looking forward to doing it again!

There is meditation music they have that you can either play or turn off.

Is it a room, or is a sort of container that shuts closed, with you in it?

They have both. Very comfortable and not claustrophobic

Do I wear a swim suit? Or float naked?

You typically float without anything on. You don't want anything touching you while you're in their because even the littlest thing can be a distraction. But you're in a locked room with you're own shower and they filter the water before and after each person. It's like taking a bath.
