The staff were very uncoordinated to be honest. They didnt seem to communicate a lot of things with one another. Not to mention they gave one single call to my mom to tell her what’s up. I found out the time of my discharge the morning of leaving. And there was a member of staff who invalidates me for being trans. HOWEVER, I will say, most of the staff were great. Shoutout to Rico. Genuinely one of the best mental health care people I’ve met. He’s super supportive and makes sure to checkin with people.

This place is amazing. They actually care about you and want to help you. There are some amazing people that work there, including Amy,Stephan, Sky, Bri, Lindsay, Tiffany, Rico and so many others that care. I strongly recommend Denver springs.

I have had 6 different psychiatric inpatient hospitalizations, all at different facilities, including Denver Springs. Denver Springs was BY FAR the best experience I had. The staff were all genuinely kind and caring and were on really top of everything related to my care. They communicated all of my medication changes well, and were quick to check-in with me even outside of the scheduled med passes. I felt like the group therapy sessions were ACTUALLY helpful, as compared to other places I've been. I have some dietary restrictions, and the kitchen was extremely accommodating. When my treatment team decided me to transfer to a residential facility out of state at the end of the week, they did a great job at getting me all the information I needed, working with my family to schedule flights, getting my intake appointment set up, etc. They even let me call the residential facility to ask questions and let me FaceTime my sister to have her pack a bag for me. It was not a perfect stay, particularly in regards to staffing issues--they seemed extremely short-staffed when I was there in February 2022 (plus who wants to be hospitalized to begin with?) But definitely way better than my experience at other facilities.

They have a website that tells you how long each treatment program can last. If you're military, then you have more options.
I'm not sure about telephone or email but if you go to inpatient and do the in-person evaluation you are able to talk to someone relatively in the first hour or so they are very helpful there they set me up with multiple tools for my medical PTSD. I'm sure you will find the help you need. If not continue your search you will find the peace and contentment you're looking for. Good luck mr. Jones
