Anthony and his crew were above and beyond the call of duty. My mirrors were perfectly installed, removed and reinstalled elsewhere. I made a mistake in placing them in the original space and he was so very helpful. I’ve known them since his days on Rhode Island Ave.and he’s always, always helped me. Patience is his code of conduct

I've come here for several projects. Johanna is always friendly and willing to help! This last project was a piece of glass for a storm door. Flung a rock at it while cutting my grass. It was approximately 30.5"x35.5" (tempered). Lowe's could have contacted the manufacturer but the costs would have been in the $200's. Johanna was able to measure it out, order, and fit it back in place all for a cost of around $110! Now to be completely transparent- the frame was a few millimeters wider when I picked it back up so the fit back in place was extremely tight BUT it looks great and no one will ever know... Thanks Flash and Johanna!

My contractor chose Flash Glass and United @ 1232 4th Street, NE, Washington, DC for a basement shower door in April 2018. He gave Johanna the dimensions and unfortunately, it took 2 weeks to get an estimate (had to call several times). When I received the door for the first time, the measurements were wrong. Johanna reordered the door and I had to wait 2-3 more weeks. The second order, AGAIN the measurements are wrong and I was told by Johanna that "I CANNOT get my money back ($815.00) and have to wait an additional 2-3 weeks" and will not receive a discount for the inconvenience. Both times I had to pay a contractor to have the door picked up from Flash Glass (they offer no delivery service) just to find out later that it's the wrong measurement. Today July 23, 2018, 3 months later, and I still do not have a shower door. Filing a complaint with DCRA and BBB. Stay away from this company. Very unprofessional.

Questions & Answers

I have 2 mirrors, both 7' feet tall and approximately 3’ wide and not attached to anything. I want to get both mirrors cutting. Can your store cut each 1/8" of an inch thick mirrors?

Yes! We can cut the mirrors for you

I need your opinion, please. I own 2, very heavy and old, 30 x 40 inches (75X100 cm), gold-metal framed thick-glass, silvered mirrors from the old (before renovations) Mayflower Hotel in D.C. Are they worth hanging on to?

Mr. Dalton-thank you for reaching out to Flash Glass in reference to your mirrors, however, we are not in a position to determine if they are of value or not. I would like to suggest having them appraised if you feel they are or could be in the future of any value and worth hanging on to. Here is a link that could perhaps get you started. https://hobbylark.com/collecting/How-to-Determine-the-Value-of-an-Old-Mirror Thank you, Management
