Luis Aponte
We got there around 8:30am on a Tuesday. We waited about 15 - 20 minutes to be called after completing the application. The lady that greeted us at the entrance was wonderful and very helpful. The lady behind the counter that lady that helped me me was not as friendly, but she was efficient. It was hard to hear her and understand what she was saying since she was behind a glass plus was wearing a mask. I had to ask her several times to repeat what she said. Good overall experience.

Yes
Yes you can, on their website
Have you called to let them know you have not received it?
No
Your doctor would fill out a form stating the need for one, then take that to the car registration office (they have a drive thru in Valdosta )
Call Georgia highway patrol
Social security card and proof of residency and birth certificate. I think it's$ 32 for it
Birth certificate, SSN, previous DL, and if you've been married, all marriage certificates and divorce decrees, if applicable. You'll also need proof of residency. Lease, mortgage statement, or 2 current bills sent to the current address.
Take ur birth certificat bill with ur name on them if u have apassport take this should be enough to get a replacement to the license burrow then that's all
I paid 32 a couple days ago and it was good for 8 years
Go online or go up there, there is paper work to fill out first
Idk. I was only getting my license and I paid full price.
I am not sure...... tried looking it up for ya... but can't find one.. sorry. May have to call n ask.
No
Usually the high school offers it or you can look up and pay for a student driver program i am not sure if a minor can or allow the parent too sit in the back seat
I'm not sure why. Call them and ask. Maybe they can shed some light on it for you.
They told me 1 hour early. I just had mine
Your old drivers license and a bill with address. Insurance.
I would call them.. or go up there... they are only closed mondays... they should be able to take care of it.. asap...
No you have to schedule an appointment and take it in person. I know appointments for the driving portion are almost a month out.
As long as it's a regular license not a commercial license he can renew it online
Get online and make an appointment through their website. It will walk you through everything needed.
Our daughter got hers on Friday, had to make an appointment, but it was pretty straight forward.
Sometime a week and half for you to receive your new license
Even though I had a valid I.D. I still had to have a birth certificate and social security card.
No idea about that, u just need to call up there an ask them because they are very strict about there requirements and rules.
download the application DDS 2 Go attend you online
10 dollars
Social security, passport or residence, receipt on behalf of the person and submit a written exam if they approve give permission to pay $ 10
go to the office they changed it to me and they didn't charge me
Any official mail that has you current address and legal name will work.
No you don’t an appointment is optional
Birth certificate... Social Security card...student Id or if u have state of Georgia Id.
No. I just took mine and you can get it with or without a medical certificate
Yes. You may bring a rental car: Vehicle Requirements: Bring a paper copy of the vehicle registration and current valid insurance card. If the vehicle is a rental car, please make sure the name of the person testing is on the rental agreement. If your vehicle has temporary tags or the vehicle was purchased within the past 30 days, you must provide a bill of sale. Vehicle must pass a safety inspection test by DDS before getting on the road.

By going to the courthouse with a doctors note stating you require one for x amount of days or permanently.
Not sure how much I think it's 15 but you need social security card birth certificate and proof of address
No not that I am aware
You will need proof of address
Look at their website.
No you don't. As long as you all are there before 5:30
Only if you've kept them up to date. You may be required to take the exam again
No. To my knowledge Walk ins are fine unless you need your driving exam
If your under age 65 and have a secured license ( secured licenses have a star in the corner) then, yes you can renew online.
Yes you do Dylan. I just got mine back 2 weeks ago after 10 years when I paid to get them reinstated she let me fill out a affidavit and I only paid half. Then I had to take the 2 part test then had to schedule to come back to take the road test. So the answer to your question is YES.
Get a utility bill
First one free second one $5
$32.00 for class C . $10 for under 18 if you have taken road test
$8 i think
How much to get a GA Drivers License and what ID's do I need? Is SS card and valid out of state license enough?
If That is the date of expiration, then yes.
Yes they do
Usually $8
Nothing but your driver license. I did mine online and it was easy and better than waiting at office. Plus it's free
Proof of residency, ie utility bill or something like that, birth certificate, social security card. For military: military ID with orders/memo from commander stating duty assignment- however some states offer extention and/or grace period for active duty personnel in some states. Ga offers a six month grace period while on active duty outside Georgia and ypon discharge
You do have to make an appointment by calling DDS customer service to take the road test and to receive your driver's license I don't know much about written test I only know when you get your permit you on the computer and answer 20 questions also known as a Knowledge Test but there's only two kinds of tests the knowledge test and the road test
He needs a proof of residency meaning that he has to go to the Post Office and fill out a address change postcard after the postcard has been activated you will receive a piece of mail stating with his name and address has been changed that's his proof of residency also if he pays you month to month for rent write him a receipt they will look at it as like a month of month bill /utility bills but don't forget to put his name and address down on that receipt he will need his social security number as well as his birth certificate when he arrives at DDS they will have them fill out forms on the computer then print of a number customer service will help him if he's having troubles understanding once your number is being called to the desk you would have to tell them you would like to transfer your Florida license to a Georgia license they will do everything else and ask for what i say earlier they will take his picture and ask for a requirement signature so it can be indented on L.card
A Year and One Day after getting your permit you receive your license and you can get your permit by the age of 15 or 16.
