Don’t waste your time and money. They don’t fight for you, they are all lap dogs, money hungry attorneys. I will NOT recommend.

Couldn't win a motion to enforce for a Memorandum of Understanding that THEY THEMSELVES WROTE. David told my friend he thought she had a case (during a 17-minute phone call for which he charged $400), had his paralegal write the saddest motion I've ever read, lost the motion, and stuck my friend with 5k of legal fees for the loss. Absolutely garbage lawyering. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM. Responding to the owner: I never said I was a client- if you read the review, my friend was your client. I stand by my review- my friends in the legal community were absolutely aghast at the level of lawyering you gave to my friend. You lost an EASILY winnable motion. Period. Own the 1 star.

They didn't finish the job. Charged me for calling me to tell me nothing was going on with my case. They filled out one paper and it cost me almost 4000.00. DO NOT USE

Divorce in Colorado will not become official until at least 90 days after service is completed. The process will be much quicker if both parties are able to agree on the terms and conditions of the divorce. However, if they cannot reach an amicable decision, they will have to wait for the date of the court and settle the matter before the court. In cases like this, a divorce could easily last up to six months. That's why it's crucial to hire an experienced family lawyer to get the best possible outcome.

If the parties cannot agree on how marital property and assets should be divided, the court will decide on an equitable distribution. Equitable distribution does not necessarily translate into an equal distribution, but rather into a distribution that the court considers fair and based on a number of factors. These factors are the contributions of the homemaker, the value of the property to be awarded to each spouse, the financial circumstances of each, who will be providing primary care for any children, and any other relevant factors

What is the difference between a contested and uncontested divorce?

A contested divorce is when two spouses cannot see eye to eye and agree on issues related to their divorce. This usually brings the divorce to court. However, an uncontested divorce is when two spouses are in complete agreement on every issue relating to the terms of the divorce, allowing the divorce to be settled outside of court.

In Colorado, the only grounds for divorce are that the marriage is irrecoverably broken and there are irreconcilable differences between them. One of the parties must be a resident of the state for a minimum of 90 days before filing a divorce application.
