This was exactly the course I was looking for! In Sweden, this line of work is filled with dog instructors and I felt alone being a psychotherapist longing for more knowledge in depth in this area. The course gave me exactly that, and also an opportunity to reflect on my therapeutic work, and important ethics involved in this area. Now I have started my own education for collegues in Sweden, and I could not have done that without the knowledge I got in this course. Thank you so much! I also felt supported using english as a second language which was difficult for me.

This place is awesome! I love all the therapist that I have met as well. All the animals are really fun and really help me relax. I definitely recommend them.

Animal Assisted Psychotherapy (AAP) is provided by our licensed professional counselors and therapists along with their trained therapy animals. Animal Assisted Therapy sessions stands out from traditional psychotherapy simply because a therapy animal is integrated into the environment, which can help some facilitate communication and provide anxiety relief during the therapy process. Each clients’ experience is personalized and animals are chosen to match clients’ therapy goals. If you're in the Arvada or Greater Denver area, call us to learn more about your AAP options!
