My husband and I go for walks and bike rides here almost daily. We love this park. It's absolutely beautiful, no matter the time of year, or even time of day. Parking is always fairly easy even if you just turn down any of the streets, because, especially parking on Downing, it can be a bit scary getting in and out of the drivers side due to the pretty constant traffic whooshing by, usually, unfortunately, speeding. There are always people walking their dogs here, so it's great for that. Also, pretty consistent basketball games going on, so those looking for those activities, obviously those are plusses. And last, but certainly not least, especially with the lack of public restrooms available inside most gas stations or any businesses, there are many port-o-pottys scattered throughout the park. And they are VERY CLEAN for the most part. I've only seen one or two be funky ever, and never really seems to be the constant barrage of people harassing you while you're inside like they do at other parks in the area. Also, send to be less rampant drug use here as well. As a whole, this is a beautiful, clean, mature landscaped park with something for everyone to enjoy.

The best park that I have seen West of the Mississippi and in Denver Colorado.

Yes, and there is a small pond for children-only fishing. People fish both big lakes.
No
Most places in Denver require a boating permit, so I would look into that!
They were yesterday evening
There are very few lights in the park for night time. Make sure to bring a torch with you.
Swimming is NOT allowed in any of the bodies of water at Wash. You can, however, rent paddle boats in the bigger lake on the north side of the park & get out on the water
If you ever the Mississippi entrance parking lot on the south side of the park, the playground will be at the very end next to the fire circle.

I think your talking about the playground near the pedal boat rental, I'm not sure why that happened but I know that there is a new playground on the north side of the middle lake
Yes, smaller than NYC'S central park.
