Great adoption experience! The dog I adopted was sleeping when I came in. When I came back around they had given him his very own filled Kong and he was so cute! They give you toys and treats to use during your meet and greet. You get free vet visit and behavior counseling if you need it after adoption. They also send you training videos and material. My dog is almost 5 years old and is so easy compared to having a puppy (which I originally thought I wanted). He was adopted for a day and returned because of his high energy but give them a chance, that crazy boy energy only lasted a few days. He is much calmer now he is settled into his new home and has fun boy energy now! They work with the dogs past behavior issues while they are in the shelter too! So far he's been a little angel doesn't really do anything wrong. They helped him walk on the leash better and he knows basic commands already. My dog had a video on their website and I wish they could do more videos. Vidoes really help give you an idea of the dogs personality if you looking to adopt from out-of-town. If you do visit the shelter, you will fill out a card of dogs you might be interested in adopting. They then go over the dogs known history before you decide which dogs you want to meet. They give you allot more information about the animal than what is on the website. I met my dog at the Buddy center but adopted him from the Leslie Malone Center as he had been moved up there. They are always doing adoption specials so keep checking the website. I got a gift basket with my dog because he was a long-stay guy who had been there 5 months. They also offer great senior discounts year round. Nicest shelter I visited while looking for dogs. Very happy with my new best friend!

Yes. Always!
Just go to website and click on adoption
We do not use sheets. We do use towels, wash clothes, blankets and take the items to the buddy center during open hours. We'll be delighted to receive those items. Thank you. Ps. I volunteer there
I don't think they do I think another facility does though
Yes and you will need to call for pricing
When I adopted my guinea pig a few weeks ago, they were not allowing people in the building. I would call them to see how to set up a visit
Yes as well as chinchillas. But I. Unaware of other exotics
I bet they would love the help. The website say they have a Junior Volunteer Club ages 12-15. You should call them at (303) 751-5772, ext. 7311
They do offer spay/neuter for cats but the facilities at the Buddy Center are limited. I would look at the Solutions Veterinary Hospital run by DFL at 191 Yuma St. in Denver.
Not that I know of, but if you call, they can probably answer your question or help you with a problem.
Best to call them directly for vet hours and availability. Their vets also are in surgery at times.
Click anywhere that isn't part of the pop up ad for donating. It closes the window.
It depends on the animal and their age. Their website offers a bio of every animal they have up for adoption and included their price iirc
This is the best place in the South Denver metro area to adopt a pet. They also have discounted adoption fees for senior citizens.
It depends on the age of the dog. The cost is higher the younger the dog. Puppies are the most expensive.
It depends, if they're bonded and it looks like they might suffer more being separated they will try to keep them together. They go to the same foster home together and they are observed.
This place is the best place to surrender them to. They really care about animals and they will see that your babies find a furever home
Depending on the age of the dog you can go from 250 to $50 if the dog did less than a year old 99% of the time it will be $250 if it's older than 5 years then it will be $50
Any time during business hours. Thanks.
Most shelters will lend you a cat trap.
If you go to menu then services there's an adoptable pets tab scroll Down to either select what you are looking for or browse
