They turn me down because I am type 2 diabetic. It is well controlled and I looked it up on Google and there is no reason that I can't donate plasma. A friend of mine went there and had arthritis and they wouldn't let her donate either. This is ridiculous that I wasted 2 hours of my time for them to say that.

Yes you do need one for your first visit.
Jessica. Take a minute and listen to your recording. It's states "1st time donors must show up 1 hour before closing time" and to bring forms of id's. I never mention you MUST HAVE AN APPOINTMENT. I RECORDED IT. PLEASE go ahead and listen to it then respond with some sort of idea as to what you are talking about. I drove 1 hour after being informed that I can just come on in. Would you like a recording played on your Biomat Facebook account???
CSL IS Up TO $130.00. Great people there. No receptionist on a power trip either.
