The facility is nice, but now that I'm 6 months into a 1 year membership, I have regrets I didn't go with another gym. I find the extremely early close time difficult to work into my schedule as I'd prefer to work out an hour or two after dinner. And they haven't had any indication of extending hours anytime soon.

This mean Director lady kicked us out because we were apparently walking too fast. If you want to be respected by people do not come to this facility if you want to go to a place like this I recommend the YMCA it has an ice rink plus everything that the rec center has.

This place is superior to every gym I have been to. You can do it all, from powerlifting to training for a triathlon to taking yoga and cycling classes included in the membership. If you live in town there isn’t anywhere else you should even consider. Only issue I have ever seen is a ton of high school aged kids hogging the weights but that’s every gym in America at 4pm during the week.

The weight room itself is excellent, but several pain points with memberships/logistics: 1) You can't set up a recurring monthly membership using a credit card - you have to bring in a physical check to prove your bank info. Sharing raw bank account info is incredibly bad security-wise, plus it's 2021 - who has checks any more these days? 2) "The Non-Resident Louisville Business Pass" is a nice discount for monthly/yearly memberships for people like myself who work in the town while living elsewhere. But this doesn't extend to punch/day passes, which would make much more sense for someone also like myself who only wants to use this gym once a week or so. It's pretty expensive if you're not going 3x/week. 3) A scanner to check in would be much faster than waiting in line to tell the desk person your # each time you check in. 4) The mask mandate even if vaccinated is a huge pain if you plan on breathing hard at all (it's a gym!), but that's set by the city/county so no stars docked for that.

Yes, you need to book a party. You can do that through the front desk. Nice space for a kid's party!
No definite date has been set.
The pools are chlorinated.
Yes, both racquetball courts are now open.
The sauna, steam room and hot tub have all reopened after the remodel.
Yes the rec center has lots of silver sneaker classes, come in to the rec center for more information
Yes. It is slightly more expensive than the cost if a resident day pass, but definitely available!
Yes, in addition to the ones others have mentioned, there's a "free weight" row machine in the weight room on the first level.
For residents of Louisville 10-punch passes cost $45 for adults and $25 for youth (age 3-17) and seniors (60 and over). 20-punch passes cost exactly twice as much.
