I wanted to really love this place. BUT, loooooong check in, three people to check me in and it still took 20 minutes, they all seemed totally confused or incompetent. Got to my room. Beautiful view. Then dogs started barking LOUDLY. Complaint to the front desk did no good. They barked until 10p, then started up again at 8a. Two rooms, two dogs. I know I should have asked for a different room, but I was exhausted after my flight. I love the puppies, but y'all don't leave your pets alone in your hotel room when traveling. Poor things, strange place, smells, sounds, of course they bark. Geez...also at 8a loud hammering, Construction with a capital C. Thank goodness it was only one night. Oh, they do have a killer Caesar salad at the lobby lounge, reasonably priced. The service at the lobby lounge was outstanding, kind of saved the stay.

How was nice, room was good. Front desk help wanted to be somewhere else. Went down to get water, totally ignored by one staff at the desk, the other was rude. Asked for water, rudely said it was $3 a bottle, which is fine but for Diamond members it’s free. Was given two bottles of warm water from under the desk. Asked for a cookie (my daughter was with me), was told she only had one and she asked the other woman if she had and she rudely replied no. After going back to the room, one of the bottles was opened and missing water. We needed another towel, so we called the front desk. Was told they didn’t have anymore that they were all given out for the pool and other guests were using them all day to try in the morning. I usually always stay with Hilton for work and personal. Overall a bad experience with this one at least with the staff, might have been just a fluke, but the evening front desk definitely needs to be talked to about their attitude.

Rooms were nice, clean and had plenty of space (1 King). Location is great for getting around. 4 stars for service because of evening grumpy front desk employee. Day front desk, coffee shop and bar employees all were top notch and this one bad apple didn't spoil the bunch. In fact she stood out cause everyone else was so service oriented. Great place to stay, all around.

After a long week of work and hard work we arrived at the front desk and were greeted by Dara I believe was her name. It was 5 pm Saturday April 2nd. She was so amazingly friendly and helpful! She was sweet, professional and very helpful. We definitely appreciated her above and beyond service after traveling and working so hard! Your bar staff was awesome as well and we enjoyed our meal throughly! Even with a busy and full house everyone provided excellent and amazing service with a full house and buzz from the little dancing babies in town! The smiles from staff and their teamwork were awesome! I slept so very well! As a matter of fact I slept so well I missed my flight! Your front desk ans shuttle staff at 6 am hopped right into action and made my panic stress madness situation much more tolerable and comforted me in my anxiousness! All in all I made it to the airport and ended up delayed for the entire day! I ended up having to return to the hotel where my Boss was still in bed sound asleep! I explained my situation to Hanna and she made things happen so I could at least get a shower and get myself presentable for the day! I am ever so grateful for the staff and my stay at double tree! Your Staff is absolutely phenomenal and we will be returning!
