char siew pastry was very mediocre… barely had any filling and was mostly just pastry. quite oily as well. taro bun was good though - authentic taro filling. could taste the chunks and it wasn’t artificially sweetened too. quite hefty as well

OMG, I found the most delicious egg tarts in NYC. Tai Pan is a bakery chain from Hong Kong and in my opinion, they serve the best egg tarts. It is great to note that the egg tarts here are the same quality as could be found in HK. I also had the polo bun with meat and can’t get enough of the variety of buns and cakes option.
