My favorite beach spot never over crowded, clean, excellent place to bring your four legged friends, lots of great places to sit and enjoy the scenery or have a picnic and since this is a deep port I have seen whales come very close to shore along with other various marine life. I have even gone for a swim here on a couple of occasions. On low tides you can walk down the beach for quite a ways just be aware of when the tide turns bc ít comes back in quickly leaving only the train tracks to walk back on which you don't want to be stuck doing.

My wife and I lucked out when arriving here, as we pulled up to a completely packed parking lot, I happened to make eye contact with someone about to leave. I made just enough room for him to pull out as I had a vehicle ahead and behind me! Roll of the dice, actually panned out! To add the cherry on top of this senerio. We were able to catch the last minutes of the sun setting over the horizon! Throw in altostratus and especially those Cirrus clouds and you see where I am going... B-uti-full Sunset!
