If I walk here I have to pass by five other wine stores on my way. This is an excellent store and worth the 30min walk. They have an extensive stock of well known and less common wine at all price points. The staff are warm and friendly and they want to be helpful. I’m a happy customer

Fantastic stop for a huge variety of spirits and wines! Great service, wide variety, high end! The amaro/liqueurs section as well as the sake section are particularly well-curated.

The sales associates here are always friendly and ready to share their expertise in fine spirits and liquor. They aren't ever trying to rush me through making a selection, it's actually the opposite. I was introduced to Black owned distillers and many brands I had not heard of before. I don't buy Whiskey from anywhere but McGovern's.
