We came on Thursday, 10/27/22. The Hostess could be heard telling the party before (white couple), you can sit in the outdoor seating or the garden. There is space. I approach the hostess and she looks at me and my family of 4. We are brown and frequent guests at the restaurant. She says there is a 25 minute wait and she cannot seat us at the garden which just filled up. She checks with management and then proceeds to give us a two seat table and a barrier for the garden. She claims my children can sit at the barrier. Totally outrageous that she would think this table could accommodate a party of 4 with many open tables in the garden. I realized she wanted our experience to be less than desirable. I totally think this was a tactic employed by her and management to deter us from dining there. Total racist move. I will never return there again after eating there more than 5 times.

It is been more than a year since I worked for a few days at saraghina one of the managers promised me I would get my check in the mail since I never got it. You can put it inside where the sun doesn't shine. I don't care good bye

Saraghina takes the health of our crew, guests and community seriously. The guidelines set forth by New York state have been implemented and are executed on a daily basis. They include mask-wearing, contact tracing for dine in guests (when allowed), spacing outdoor dining tables, providing hand sanitizer, daily temperature checks and health screening for employees, daily restaurant deep cleaning, and hourly sanitizing of high touch surfaces including the bathroom. We have managed to avoid any outbreaks by requiring staff to test and quarantine if they become exposed to COVID and by following the most up to date best practices available. As a neighborhood restaurant, we are humbled to serve the community though this challenging time.
So far indoor dining has returned at 25% capacity. Don't know if the outdoor covering is rain proof though.
