I’ve only ever had pizza from the slice counter at Carmine’s, but it’s quality and consistency makes it easily one of the best in the city. Could’ve contended with Prince St Pizza at its peak, and definitely blows away Lucalis, Baby Lucs and Best Pizza. The pepperoni Sicilian... oof! *chefs kiss*

Carmine’s is a type of bar-restaurant pizzeria. The location has two entrances. The restaurant entrance is on the right hand side. The place was not very crowded at 3pm when we got there but filled up some by 5pm on a Saturday afternoon. I rate this place a 3 star because the plate I ordered was chicken franceses with pasta did not taste good nor did it look appetizing. I tried a few bites but it was not a pleasant taste on my palate. I can’t even explain it that’s how weird it was. I ended up getting the pasta chicken parmigiana. Thankfully this was good and did not ruin the rest of the meal. The price for the plates were between $16-23 which is the average of other places. The service was good, however we went as a group of 7 and they did not want to split the check.
