Different family members have taken their pets to Countryside for years. The doctors and tech staff are very professional. In particular, Dr. Marotta stands out as a compassionate, kind professional vet that listens to his clients and works with them on their terms. We cannot recommend him enough. The front desk staff, especially Chrissy, is very kind and accommodating. Countryside is the best pet healthcare hospital we have encountered throughout Fairfield and New Haven Counties. We travel 45 minutes to have our pets cared for there. Other than Countryside, we only take our pets to the Animal Medical Center in NYC for specialized care. We trust no one else with our pets' care.

Countryside has been my Veterinarian for 22 years. Dr. Sante is caring and professional. I had the pleasure to recently meet with Dr. Muratti. He is very caring, professional and gives you the time that is needed to ask any and all questions you may have. The front desk staff is hands down...the best. Some of whom I've know the 22 years.

I took my newly adopted kitten, Achilles for his first vet visit and the staff, techs, and Dr. Marotta were phenomenal! They were very patient, knowledgeable and took their time answering all my questions and explaining all concepts regarding pet health. Dr. Marotta is by far the most caring, entered the exam room with a smile and most importantly remains enthusiastic throughout the appointment making us feel like we’re sitting with family or a friend. He was involved and best prepared veterinarian I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with, you can see it in his work, Achilles (kitten not friendly at all) was at total ease getting his shots and treating his ear infection, no signs of discomfort at all through any part of his visit instead seemed like he was at the spa which makes me happy to see. Best first impression of any vet I’ve been to in Connecticut.

My new Vet!! Awesome on all counts. Staff from reception to tech to Dr wonderful and caring. Took time to review my cat's latest test results and give good options for next steps! So glad I found them💓💓

Questions & Answers

Did the schedule change? It’s Saturday 10/03/20. 10:38 am. It says “open” online. I brought urine and stool samples, waited for over an hour. No one responded to me. I was advised I don’t need an appointment for this. It’s very frustrating.

Hello Francis and Gary. Yes. I called them and I sent text using phone# provided at the parking too. My husband (who was home at that time) couldn’t reach them either. There were 2 more people who came and left while I was there. I hope we will figure it out next week.

Call the vet and ask. I wouldn't take medical advice from strangers without training on the internet. There could be fillers in those that are toxic to dogs

Today is Tuesday, 8:10AM. I have been trying to call Countryside Vet Hosp for the last 10 mins but kept getting voicemail to say they are closed. The website shows that it’s open at 8am every day, but no one picks up. Has the hours been changed?

I don't think hours have changed. They may be busy early in the morning as that's prime time for some people to bring in their pets.
