Nice laid back rv park. Long term and short time spots. Very reasonable rates

We had a nice stay in one of the camp sites. The site are spaced out so you have plenty of privacy. The place is situated on the top of a hill overlooking Cortez. At night you can see the city lights from up there, the sky is amazing; while at the ring fire I could hear a native chanting probably an evening prayer from a nearby hill. The host was very nice, she gave us extra blankets. The showers and restroom are very clean, very hot water. If we are back in the area we will staying again.

This was by far the most put together tent camping I’ve experienced on my trip. The sites themselves are well maintained, and there’s a compost out house by the tents if needed. The crown jewel is the clubhouse that has showers, toilets, a kitchen with pots and pans, and WIFI. Wish I could stay here longer.

I stayed for several nights with my dog at a tent site. The location is amazing. Close to Mesa Verde and Sand Canyon Trail. Get too hot? Its a 6 minute drive to Dolores where you can jump in the river with your dog (it's amazing!), OR you can go to the clubhouse where there are clean, comfy sofas, wifi, and a kitchen are available in air conditioning (so nice we took a nap). The showers and bathrooms are clean with plenty of space to set and hang your belongings. The campsites are generously spaced and shaded with great views. My tent site (#2) felt like I had privacy but was not isolated. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. Pleasant fellow campers. I felt very safe and comfortable here with my dog. Very dog friendly. Very safe. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME.

No but you can go get a permit from MC and get fallen trees by the cord.
