Pretty disappointed with the service I received on my maintenance package! I brought my 36" mower in for a repair that was still under warranty. I figured while it was there, I might as well get it tuned up. I knew going in, the repair was not going to be a quick one, because parts are on backorder everywhere...etc. About a month and a half later, I received the call that the mower was ready and that I could pick it up the following day after 4 pm, because it was waiting to be washed. Came to pick it up about 2 days after I received the call to that find that the mower had not been cleaned via pressured washed still. I read my receipt and looked at the list of things that were done, I went back in to ask why the mower was still dirty. I was told the guy who cleans them had been on vacation. Well, why was I told that I could pick it up after it gets washed at a certain time the next day if the guy who washes them is on vacation? Hmmmm? The owner then came out unloaded the mower and quickly pressure washed it off. I could have done the same thing with a hose. However, I then started to wonder how many other things were skipped over that are listed as completed on my receipt. I am now noticing that my brakes are not holding the mower when going backwards and that there is still grass under the deck. So, I gave them a call again and the owner advised that the brakes may have come out of adjustment.... he suggested I bring it back in during tech hours to have them checked and adjusted again............How in the heck did they come out of adjustment when I have not even used the mower since it was picked up? Hmmm? He then advised me that they don't clean the grass from under the deck completely, that they just scrape it. He also mentioned that the deck is usually pressure washed, which it appears neither was done underneath. Were the blades even taken off, sharpened and rebalanced like the maintenance package entails? My gosh you had the mower for almost 2 months and there are so many excuses for why I have to question the work. Maybe you should re-word your package details so that the customer expectations are not so high if the things listed in the package are still questionable when service is complete. Not to mention the cost of said tune up was $374.45 after addl $105 kit, shop fees, and taxes were added. I just wonder what other things in the package were not completed like they should have been. Seems like these days superior service and honesty is hard to find.
