Please do not allow this doctor to perform any procedure on you. She sent her assistant to see me before my EGD and would not listen to me in the procedure room. She announced to me and the staff that I did not have Barrett's esophagus before she even did the test. When I questioned her reasoning, I was put to sleep mid-sentence. Barrett's was diagnosed by my previous gastroenterologist in Atlanta in 2 separate scopes (2016 and 2019) with 2 different pathology labs confirming it. I was due for a follow up scope to determine its status. I also have Schatzki's ring which needed to be dilated, and a hiatal hernia that seems to have grown. I have GERD and the burning backwash is getting much worse. None of that was addressed in my scope even though I mentioned it when I was checked in and it is in all of the documentation provided to the doctor 6 weeks prior to the procedure. "Dr." Behzadi needs more procedural training and definitely more patient care training. Please consider someone else - even if you have to wait or go out of state. I thoroughly regret allowing this person to touch me.
