The oxygen facial is divine. My skin feels and looks more radiant after just one visit. I also bought a variety of the products that Nina Naidu formulates and makes herself. They are wonderful.

From start to finish, Dr. Naidu and her team treated me as if we were longtime friends. They always made time to address my many questions, and provided very clear guidance. The quality of Dr. Naidu's work and her compassion are impeccable.

Incredible surgeon! Dr. Nina Naidu was knowledgeable, straightforward, and honest. What impressed me the most is that she wasn't promising anything that she couldn't deliver. My case is a bit complicated and she wasn't afraid to tell me "I don't know" when I asked a question that she didn't know the answer to. She is trustworthy and highly competent and I look forward to seeing her again in the future!

One of the myths of breast augmentation is that you need to sleep in a particular position after surgery. Frequently patients will say that they've heard they need to sleep in an upright position or only on their backs after surgery. It's recommended that you sleep in the position most comfortable for you. If after surgery this is on your side or even on your stomach go ahead and do that. Most patients will find that if they get into a position that's uncomfortable, they'll wake themselves up and they'll move back into a more comfortable position. This is the best thing to do for a patient.

Can I wear a push-up bra after breast augmentation?

Following breast augmentation surgery, I advise patients to wait for approximately 3 to 4 weeks before getting new bras. This includes push-up and underwire bras.

How long does it take for swelling to resolve after breast augmentation?

After breast surgery, patients will have variable amounts of swelling. Typically most patients will have a mild amount of swelling for the first several days, and this will generally subside by about three weeks after surgery. However, every patient is different. Some patients will notice that one breast remains more swollen than the other for a longer period of time and this is completely normal.

Do I need to massage my breasts after breast augmentation?

Following breast augmentation, there's no clear indication to massage the implants. Some patients do like to do this and certain surgeons do recommend it, so if patients want to that's okay if they have smooth round implants in. For textured atomic implants, it's recommended that they do not massage because this skin displaces the implant. For smooth implants; to massage the breast, it's easiest to do it in the shower and just push the implant to one side then to the other, then up and then down; and to do the opposite hand for the opposite breast.
