After waiting a few weeks to get a wedding dress fitting, my fiance was denied service midway through her appointment. She expressed some concerns about how the dress felt and said she would like to try it on again asap after the alterations were made. I guess some people take offense to simple requests like that? The employees just stopped and said "You know what, we can't help you, goodbye". My fiance left distraught, carrying her new wedding dress out the store with some pins left in. But this place actually helped us realize there are better places nearby. We ended up at a store in Huntington with actual professionals who did an amazing job.

I brought a few pairs of old Docker pants that I had gotten from the clearance racks over the years. I've learned from experience that I'm a difficult to fit person, it's hard to get clothes over my big belly. In fact, the day I went to pick up my pants from the tailor, I had to go back to a discount suit store to pick up my new suit hoping that they were correctly fitting after the 3rd round of tailoring. When I went in to drop off my seven pairs of pants, I was shocked at how expensive it was, a full $325. For that price, I had budgeted enough time in my schedule to come back multiple times until the pants were perfect. Imagine my surprise, I just tried on the first pair of pants, and they came out looking fantastic. Really breathed new life into an old pair of pants. Was it worth the money? Probably not. For that price, I probably could have gotten new pants that would fit me almost as well. But, it's nice to know that if I was to get more pants in the future, and my budget allowed, I would definitely be coming back.

After one tailor let me down I found La Mode on google and checked the reviews. I came with a rush job to taper a pair of pants, sew a small hole in the seam and add an inch to the length. In two days time I received them back (mind you this is during prom season and wedding season) the work was excellent. I couldn’t be happier. Very nice experience and the ladies that work there are sweet as can be. Highly recommend

I have used their services before but will never go back. Went to have a suit jacket altered. Have them 3 weeks to do work so they weren’t rushed Paid $80 to shorten sleeve, take in on back, fix collar roll I believe there was a change of owners and quality has gone downhill 1) They misquoted the work and wanted an additional $50 I said no was to shorten jacket 2) Went to pick up and they forgot to sew on sleeve buttons had to go back 3) Picked up and now it’s too late but the inside lining of jacket was never sewn back on to suit fabric. My fault I should have checked now leaving for an event and it’s looks awful. I would add a photo but jacket is packed
