I found Dr.Starik through my insurance. These are the aspects of this office and dentist I did and did not like. What I didn’t like: Dr.Starik has no bedside manner. I always felt like I was inconveniencing her. She also hurt me quite a few times but wasn’t very apologetic. She performed a root canal and it took weeks to get a crown because she sized my tooth wrong so I had to get a temporary one TWICE.Even after the real crown was in it took months to feel normal and still hurts sometimes. Knowing I have to get another crown I decided to find another dentist who doesn’t blame their mistakes on the lab or whoever else and instead has some semblance of a warm personality. They also don’t offer any sort of TV or music options to comfort you. When Dr. Starik did my cleaning it took 10 minutes and didn’t feel thorough at all. Lastly, they DO NOT GIVE YOU A GOODIE BAG! I’m shocked none of the reviews mentioned the fact that they don’t give you a toothbrush and toothpaste when you leave. That’s the best part of going to the dentist. What I did like: Dental hygienists and the secretary are all super nice and the only positive part of going to this dental office. I also like how they have late afternoon/evening appointments. Bottom line, it appears lots of people enjoy this dentist which is great for them but I preferred to get a second opinion and wow, do I wish I had done that sooner! Thanks.
