Dr. Gentile and his team are excellent. I had a Retina detachment while on vacation in Brazil. After visiting a local doctor it was confirmed that I had to do surgery asap. After the surgery I could not fly for 4 to 6 weeks so I would be stuck there. After some online research and reading the glowing reviews about Dr. Gentile I called his office and despite never been his patient they were extremely professional and accommodating. I got the first flight back home (NYC) and next day I was in Dr. Gentile’s office and did a Vitrectomy surgery 3 days later. Today, 23 days after surgery my vision is already 20/20, the same as had before on the eye that I had surgery, and as a bonus I have no more floaters. The outcome couldn’t have been better.
