Small library but I'm happy it is still in my neighborhood. Nowadays it is not a lot of people read a book anymore. I'm glad there is a place I can go and have a peaceful reading moment. Looks like more staff than people who come to read, lol but it is ok. Only one thing I'm not crazy about is there are some garbage and unwanted stuff that people maybe left them outside the library for homeless and made the place looks messy.

We are partially accessible, (and working on improving that) there is a ramp through the garden that can be accessed on Leonard Street. The main level can be accessed by patrons with wheelchairs, but the bathrooms are not easily accessible.
I believe they have some sort of program where they provide assistance to help you file taxes on a first-come first-serve basis. I am more familiar with the Greenpoint branch then this branch on Devoe Street but I would imagine the service is provided at all Brooklyn Public Libraries as a public service
The Greenpoint and Bushwick branches are both open for returns.
