Absolute worst company to have supplying power. They use outdated equipment and the power seems to go out on a monthly basis. They’re in no particular rush to restore your power either. I will be reaching out to members of my community as well public officials to drum up support to form a class action lawsuit that can be filed against this negligent company.

Terrible customer service and power outages almost every rain storm
Caley
Always having outages even when it's a sunny day without high winds. They're not efficient in fixing outages either. Folks around here have no choice but to use them. 3 weeks in a row this has happened to my household.

Apparently, I can't give zero stars, but I do feel one is seriously overrating their commitment to customer service. Six power outages in Bridgewater in the past two weeks. One would think they'd reach a point where they'd be embarrassed by their ineptitude. They expect payment every month, and I expect the lights to come on when I flip the switch.

Ouch,,call or go online to find out what procedures have to be followed,,also take pics and videos of any losses that are piling up,,, wish ya luck, itll take a while to get back to normal, took me a few weeks, and the workers are busting their tails
Try calling the 800 number it sounds like there's a different problem, did you try checking your breaker box
You should be able to call to let them know your the new home owner and to put the bill in your name.
Trees pose an enormous hazard when too close to electrical lines. I would think that maintaining the trees is an immense task, and over cutting helps to prevent the trees growing into the power line before the crew returns again. Nothing gets spared in the name of safety
They do the best they can given the circumstances.
You can call JCP&l and tell them what you need and they will send it out to you if you don't have their number just Google JCP&l New Jersey and as long as you have your account number they will print a bill out for you and send it to you
The utility company.
Yes but this happens every storm..been living here for 25 years and since jcp & l was taken over by an out of state company it's gone diwn hill
Did you try the 800 number,, this storm had some strong winds, moved fast also
Try calling the 800 number,, hopefully no one crashed a pole
When you purchased your property they survey it and give an option for markers, check the blueprint you should've gotten also,is that what your asking about?
Prob agree with ZF,if ya wanna dig deeper you call always call and ask, have a great white day, personally i love snow
I wish I had an easy answer for you but it's not as simple as it seems I went through the same thing last year but after seeing the guys work their asses off I appreciated what they did more the one thing I was glad I had was a generator and the knowledge how to hook it up I wish you luck in this upcoming storm on mine three poles had snapped in half during a 0 degree weather again I wish you luck
Questions here are answered by other Google users, not the company. I got a call at 7pm yesterday saying that my power was estimated to be restored at 1138pm that night. Needless to say it's noon the next day and they are radio silent.
You may have the confirmation number but till your payment does clear they will hold off on showing it
An electrician for starts to decide amperage, jcpl will run it to the house, then your electrician will hook it up ,make sure they check for any problems
They are here in jackson,so im guessing they would, your only 15 mins away😀
Did you try calling the 800,866 number,,when i needed the info last week it was quick and painless,,totally surprised me
