Don’t bother - been trying for over a week to get someone to call me back to no avail. Too many other good pt facilities to waste my life chasing these clowns.

The Dr. and the facilities are the best

Wasted three (3)+ months sending/faxing previous records to them in the hope that they would help me (have problem with TKR done in 2019, with lower back/groin/hip pain/imbalance when walking-fall risk). HSS has reputation for "being the best" in orthopedic care. Well, their Paramus office did not live up to that reputation. Kept telling me they did not receive faxes/info. i sent them (kept resending same over several times). Finally, was able to get an appt. Then had to call them to schedule xrays/MRIs. Was ultimately told they "could do nothing" to help me; was given the names of three HSS spinal surgeons in their NY office and also told to try to find a NJ spine surgeon, if I wished. Visit w/NJ spine surgeon yielded no resolve (dr. was downright hostile and told me to go back to HSS). Am back to "point A" again. Does anyone know a good orthopedic dr. in Northern NJ that truly gives a damn about their patients and their welfare? UPDATE; I ultimately called the three HSS "spine surgeons" that Dr. Baxi had given me the names of; two out of the three do not accept Medicare/w supplement plan, the third has not called back after leaving two messages. Thanks, again. Also thank Dr. Carli for no follow-up (initial dr.)

Physical Therapy level of care is great and the PT's are great. The biggest disappointment is the hoops you have to jump through to schedule appointments. They only ever schedule appointments two weeks in advanced and you have to call each week starting Monday to schedule the newly opened week, and only by phone. The time slots get reserved almost immediately so you have to be on the ball with calling each week, which is really annoying and not realistic for busy people. This makes it nearly impossible to have a consistent schedule for your treatment (like if you wanted to come every Tuesday at 6pm) and is just a really inefficient way to handle scheduling. It's a shame because the treatment regiments and PTs are very good, but for every ounce of pain they help you get rid of, the scheduling process inflicts double!

I think so
I don't believe so
Hospital takes United Health care. Dr. Greg Difelice does knee replacements
I believe all surgeries are done at the main hospital in NYC.
Their is no general Fx number for this site.is there any one specific you are looking for? Like any Dr or any PT?
Which insurance HSS take ? Medicare plus Aetna magna care supplementary from teachers pension??
Dr. Elliott is a Foot and Ankle specialist. Uou can refer to www.hss.edu to look up doctors for what specialty they do and location.
Correct. Www.hss.edu. Upper right hand corner, click on careers and look up for xray tech jobs. Unfortunately the techs with seniority will get 1st dibs on possible NJ rotation. But if it's for part time, just send ur res anyway if any possibilities. Can't promise anything.
Yes there's a HSS in parmas NJ. But not sure if they do all types of foot surgery.
Yes.
