I was amazed how knowledgeable Paul was, I must have asked over 20 different questions and gave him several what if scenarios to deal with. He smiled and answered them all very quickly and easily. Made me feel very comfortable and in the end helped me enroll in a plan that doesn’t even cost me anything $0 … Pretty cool, all my doctors accept the plan and I even get a free health club membership. If you need a Medicare agent call Paul he was fantastic!

I was stuck for days trying to figure out weather i wanted a Medicare advantage plan or a supplement. So I decided to call the modern medicare agency and spoke to the owner Paul. He walked me through all the pros and cons of each type of coverage and helped get a better grasp of how Medicare worked overall. Paul also showed me what I could expect for copays and out of pocket expenses for each type of plan. I am very appreciative of all the time Paul spent educating me. I would highly recommend Paul & his agency to anyone in need of Medicare help.

Paul was just wonderful, he really took his time helping me understand everything. Having group benefits my whole life this all seemed very confusing and strange? So after telling Paul what I wanted he was able to help me enroll in a policy that fit my request and it didn’t break the budget.

Paul Barrett is a really nice man who just took a load off my plate with Medicare. I have an illness and have trouble focusing because of it lately and am so grateful that I met Paul. He met with me and answered all my questions and completely made me at ease with choosing a plan.

I hear this question a lot, Medicare used to be timed with receiving 100% of social security benefits at age 65. Now to collect 100% of your entitled social security benefits you will need to be older than 65, so many people are opting to wait past 65 to collect. If you decide to collect social security benefits before or on your 65th birthday Medicare is automatic. For those who opt to receive social security after 65 Medicare is not automatic and you have to enroll yourself.
The good news is that Medicare brokers get paid by the insurance companies they represent. And you pay the same rate for your insurance if you use a Medicare consultant (broker). There is no extra fee or cost for enrolling through a broker. This means you pay ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for our help.
A Medicare insurance broker is an independent agent who represents multiple carriers so that they can work to give you an unbiased opinion on your Medicare plan options. They are appointed by many different insurance companies so that they can find the right fit for you rather than having to push one carrier. Your Medicare broker will be able to review all the options available and search for a plan that most closely fits your individual needs and budget.
Great question, traditionally people can enroll in Medicare 3 months before the month they turn 65, the month of their actual birthday, and up to 3 months after the month they turn 65. Your initial enrollment eligibility has a 7 month window. Hope this helps, please let me know if you have any other questions.
Original Medicare has quite a few out-of pocket costs associated with it; for instance, Medicare Part A, which covers hospital stays, has a 1556.00 deductible per incident. Part B has a 233 dollar annual deductible and only pays up to 80% of the bill for outpatient services as well as doctors surgeons, anesthesiologists ect. As I am sure you can imagine, 20% of a surgery can be quite costly. Original Medicare does NOT have a maximum out-of pocket cap like most insurance plans, so you could be responsible for 20% of much larger amounts than is usually allowed by traditional insurance. Lastly original Medicare does not cover prescription drugs at the pharmacy so if you wan t prescriptions coverage you will need to add it.
Yes, most people will have to pay for Medicare part B the base premium for 2022 is $170.10. Some people may pay more based on their income. Medicare has established a sliding scale.
Original Medicare does not cover dental unfortunately. There are some Medicare Advantage plans that cover dental or some clients by a stand alone plan.
Original Medicare does not cover long term care. If long term care is important to you that would be a completely different type of insurance.
As long as your work coverage has more than 20 employees covered and is considered to be as good as Medicare NO you do not when your ready to leave work you will have a special enrollment period and will not have to worry about a penalty.
Yes we strive to help all of our clients first by education of original Medicare and ll it's options, then we help you narrow down plan options based on your needs and budget.
Absolutely , we are full time Medicare specialists and are here to help you throughout the year as any situation arises.
Medicare can be paid for two ways if you are collecting social security benefits it will be automatically deducted, otherwise Medicare will bill you quarterly for part B.
Original Medicare does cover most providers but not all, Medicare advantage plans have different networks and require more research before enrollment.
Sometimes, depending on where you live many states have several Medicare advantage plans with NO premium.
Nothing, we provide all of our help and services year round for free.
Our agency is independent so we work with all the major carriers plus many local and regional ones as well.
