Help a sight impaired person by volunteering as a puppy raiser. If you're not interested in puppy raiser there are other way you can volunteer or think about a charitable donation.

An orientation and pick up of puppies has gone very smoothly. All staff are very friendly and caring.

Questions & Answers

Is there an online application for adopting a release dog. Or can one be sent to me

You can apply on their website. They periodically close to adoption if the wait list is too long. You can call them and ask to talk with the adoption coordinator if the website is closed to applications. It does happen sometimes.

How do I make a donation in memory of a dog and notify the owner of that donation?

Hi Jeanne, I'm not sure how long ago you asked this question, but there are a couple of options, depending on how much you would like to donate. For any amount donation, large or small, you can do a memorial tribute for an additional $25 where they will provide a certificate, etc. Here is the form for that: http://donate.guidingeyes.org/site/DocServer/GeneralandMemTribDonationForm.pdf?docID=2221 For a rather large donation, but a very meaningful one, you can choose the name of a guide dog puppy. Here is the information: https://www.guidingeyes.org/how-to-help/name-a-puppy/ What a nice thing you are doing! I hope this helps.
