Yes you can. I don't know about the GA location but the Alabama location does NOT provide nor pay for internet/wifi. Regardless what the online site says. Your payment covers rent & transportation to & from work plus a weekly trip to Walmart (1 hour per week) and church Sundays. That's it. If u want internet, you have to pay that separately. Get roommates to pitch in & when they decide not to pay, change the password to only those who help pay it. Otherwise it can be expensive just to have that.

If you're not zero balance and you miss a day of work..yeah, they will get upset!! Now about the meetings it's according where you are in the curriculum.

Here at SLA-Houston We do attend church service every Sunday. It's a great program aslong as you do what's expected of you.

Although it is co-ed, the men and women are separated, and the program does not allow fraternizing. They currently provide jobs at local poultry plants through a staffing agency that works closely with SLA Gainesville. However, other SLA campuses in Georgia, as well as Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, and North & South Carolina provide non-poultry jobs. Guests may also seek their own employment, but are hel to the same financial accountability as those with SLA provided jobs.

Why would you want to come to a sober living house if you have no problem with addiction? These places need the room for people that need help

You have a standard kitchen with fully stocked utensils and pots and pans,so u can cook meals or just use microwave. I would also bring towels. All toiletries, pillows , laundry soap ,etc.

We would like for you to do 30 days in separate cities, then if everything goes well it's possible for you both to be in the same city.

I would say that you need to talk to your director and let him know how you feel and see if if there is anything that your director can help you out with there should be something you can talk about and get things figured out there's always somebody there to listen and to talk to you

Yes, you are supposed to provide your own food. They will take people to the food bank to get food. If you want to get food stamps they will take you to DSS to apply. Many people come in with little to nothing. If they ask for help I'm sure someone from staff or another resident would be willing to help.

I'm Michael. I came to sober living of America June 12th in 2020. I've been clean and sober ever since. In fact still hear and got a wonderful job driving a forklift. If you are a addicted or a alcoholic and you want to change your life this is the perfect place to do so. It worked for me and im not special. If I can do it anyone can.

Not sure about what's in GA but SLA is just apartments with 4 to 6 people living in one place staying clean and working to pay rent

You cannot blame sober living america because a loved one chose to use!! We do not condone using in our facilities and I promise you that nobody wants to see anyone overdose. I'm sorry if your loved one overdosed, but sober living america doesnt cause that to happen. The roommates do not cause that to happen. The overdose is the end result of the addict's decision to get high in the facility and in one of the apartments. Sober Living America helps thousands of people, every year!!

Not at the Greenville Location they have a Womens location in Spartanburg.

You cannot have your children at the facility at all. You can go on an overnight pass with them after 30 days but they cannot stay there.

They have contracts with different companies they will get you a job if needed and as far as exercise you might need to be your own motivator but swimming and other activities they do could be considered exercise

I'm in the Lawrenceville facility I've been here for a year and have a certificate of completion after 30 days in the program you can get a weekend pass have a zero balance once you return to the facility after your pass you have to take a drug test and yes you could smoke there we have an outside balcony
