Can never get ahold of anyone ... Beep Twice and hangs up.

more like -5 stars. No one EVER picks up the phone. They deleted my address from my account, so there is nowhere for my mail/checks to go to if I’m deemed eligible. I went to careerlink who told me that that’s what they do to try to get you to give up and just get a job. I’m currently injured and unable to work. So the benefits that I was supposed to receive a week ago are obviously not coming since they deleted my address. When I try to change it online it says that I have to speak to a representative, so I tried changing it to direct deposit. Nope, I have to speak to a representative. I called over 500 times yesterday, got through to only be placed on hold for 45 minutes and then hung up on. When I went to the unemployment office in Norristown to get it fixed, careerlink told me there is no unemployment office anymore and that they handle everything. Plenty of people there in that office just sitting behind their desks playing on their cellphones instead of answering calls. They didn’t help me update my account and add my address, they told me to just keep calling that number and fight through the busy signal. Told me to come back next week to talk to someone about updating my address. They just enjoy wasting peoples time instead of actually helping people.

I haven't received my UnemUnemploy CK yet since 7/20 . Recv'd the letter stating that it was approved. My Bank recv'd a Trial test for the Direct Deposit... I have not received any $$. And I can not get ahold of anyone. The Building was closed during covid. Does anyone know if they are open yet 2022. I will have to drive there tomorrow since the phone is ALWAYS Busy. Note : How sad is THIS Current Administration. *** In November... Vote All Republican. And bet this will get better.

Yes they may be understaffed and you may have to take a ticket but they will call you and sort everything out in about 30 days which in my case sucks because they only gave me 21 days to try to fix my issue or pay $10,682 back for overpayment on their part for PEUC which was granted to every single American that qualified for unemployment

Go to Career link and call from there, its cuts the line on the phone. Ask for a 5 dig8code and you can talk to them online.
I need a direct number or someone in the irs
I've been waiting 5 months... still nothing. It says I have the claim balance but I don't know where or how to claim it. I haven't received a pin or anything... I dont know what to do.
I am having same issue. They said to fax over sec, ID, and 2019W2 and I have, still haven't heard from them and have over 4k in my account. I'm so irritates
During this quarantine, many work from home, but not all. They don't provide walk-in services anymore, however.
Ridiculous. They dont know how to use technology it seems.
No, you can dial 888-313-7284, but you may have to be on hold.
Who do I contact for someone is using my address?
I live in Erie, I went down to the office on State Street and they directed me to a form to fill out and put in a mail drop box. I got called two days later. much faster than trying to get through on the phone lines
I've been calling for weeks. No answer. Emailed weeks ago. Sent a letter. Just waiting while my rents backing up.
YES YES AND YES
I keep getting a fax machine
No. There are documents available in drop boxes outside, but it is a cell center only. You may also file online.
They are undergoing a changeover in the phone system. You can go to the Career Link office or to your state representative's office and let them know what your issue is. They will contact the office and make arrangements to call you back when the system is online. Hope this helps.
Had to go down and fill out paperwork and what questions I wanted answered with a call back number and they'll call you back within 72 hours but they're pretty fast with the call back
No. It's a Federal building, there's only access for employees. The UC office in Erie has a locked box on the 13th st side. I typed out a letter with name, Social security number, Date of Birrh, and telephone number. They usually give you a call within 3 days. That was the quickest way I found to actually talk with someone.
No I don't but you can call them office opens at 8 am or go to website and apply for benefits
I'm wondering what's going on myself... I have been waiting 2 months to even get a payment since my unemployment claim was approved 2 months ago and the only info it gives me on the website is that no payments have been issued to me at this time and if I check my claim status it just says to continue to file my bi-weekly claim and I have sent emails that have not been responded to and you can't get in touch with a human through the phones... They are just leaving everyone wondering what's going on while we lose our homes get our utilities shut off and they live a nice cushy lifestyle 🤬
It's been 2 months for me I recieved my card I even got told since my first payment didnt come that my first would come with my 2nd on the following Wednesday and boom never happend km about to take a leap and sue
How long you been waiting Michael?
I applied May 4th, got approved within a few days but am still waiting for the funds...
Lack of work
The state webs has the complete breakdown of who would be qualified. It's from the governor. I'm pretty sure that he would qualify, but I will refer you to the website
The PIN is mailed to you from Harrisburg, watch the mail.
On the website www.uc.pa.gov there is a link to report suspected fraud. Please report it. You can remain anonymous if you want to, but please report it. Thank you.
You will need to speak directly with a representative. There will be information needed in order to advise you of your eligibility to resume collecting.
There are multiple items that are looked at to determine your eligibility. The best advice would be if you are off work, or working less than your normal full-time hours, you have the right to file. If you are financially eligible, they will then look at your reason for separation and advise you from there.
No. The service center on State st does not take walk ins. Your best bet would be online; either home or at a careerlink center.
If you're working fulltime you are not eligible for unemployment
Anyone who is not working full time may file for benefits to receive a determination of eligiblity
What number is it to get a hold of the unemployment office? Been trying to call for 4 weeks and there is always a busy sound. Husband already qualifies but not been paid for 5 weeks yet .
The calls go to any available operator. Monday is never a good day to try to call, but if you have to you should be able to wait in the queue for an operator. Certain days they do not take calls to allow them time to process claims. You will not get anyone to answer those days. I believe that is Wednesday and Friday weekly.
You should get monthly notices of your overpayment balances and an address to send the payments in.
If you are referring to your benefits, they are delayed one day. If you are referring to your wages, you want to wait and file so that you're reporting the correct amount.
Very difficult
Office is only open certain days cuz the state laid off 45 percent of that department. More taxes means less jobs... Ski trips and golf are very expensive you know!!
