This post office doesn't even deserve a star. They are rude, and deny people of their rights on vacation holds. When you ask them about certain services they just argue with you.

Im not sure whom to talk to - calling the office does not work. My carrier is constantly putting the wrong mail in my mailbox. Wrong address and wrong name. Sometimes its one number off and sometimes its not even the same street or number. Its like they have dyslexia.

Rude personal since new management change. It's really unfortunate that a very few people make or break a business. The ladies have always been very professional. I can't say the same for management nor the helpers. Management has chosen to forgo any previous relationships that has been built over the years and send back packages that don't exactly say what they want them to say. Very unfortunate...

They always seem very friendly! I went in over lunch hour, was a few ahead of me, but didnt WAIT THAT long and another person came back from lunch, and they caught up in a hurry, and people in line , seemed to be chatting!,So no one GOT stressed about it, people are pretty nice if You give them a chance!

Sign up and pay for a PO box here once you move. At the post office, they will be able to tell you if they run mail down upur street and where uou would need to put a mailbox. I use a PO Box because mail does not come down my street so I would have to put up a mailbox about 1/2 block away. Post office is only 2 1/2 blocks away and I like the security associated with a po box. Also, mail is delivered earlier to a po box-by 10 am.

At the Newport Washington Post Office the lobby and boxes access is twenty-four (24) hrs a day, seven(7) days a week. Including Holidays
