I have been a patient of Advanced Women’s Care since I was 18. Dr El-Hayek is the most caring, understanding, thorough ONGYN practicing in Ohio! I moved over an hour away and still retained him as my doctor due to his attention to detail and ability to explain things in a way that’s easy to understand. He takes his time when caring for his patients. I am on my second pregnancy and know that anything I need all I have to do is call the office and I am well taken care of. His impact on the Boardman, Canfield, Youngstown area is felt throughout. I have referred people from where I live now to him and even they travel to see him. If you are looking for an amazing doctor look no further!!!

If I could post 0 stars I would. DO NOT GO HERE! Dr. Winchester started my sister on Lexipro the day she delivered & told her she was high risk for post partum depression, then the office REFUSED to refill her Lexipro, which threw her into post partum depression. The office manager called and left a rude voicemail saying they don’t treat post partum depression .. then why start her on an antidepressant? Nobody will refill it. They called and said they’d refill it & never did. Extremely unprofessional practice. DO NOT GO HERE unless you want unfair treatment. Save yourself time & go to a real practice.

Absolutely the best office I have been to. Dr. Winchester and Dr. El-Hayek take their time and actually talk to you and answer questions. Office staff is friendly and helpful. I always recommend this office to others.

I went in to have my current pregnancy evaluated. I explained to the midwife how I had a previous pregnancy diagnosed with a deadly genetic disorder and how we found out at 21 weeks due to a previous doctor doing the same test late in the pregnancy. It was VERY important for us to get the NIPT test done asap so we wouldn't get the same devastating news late again this pregnancy. I was 11 weeks at this appt. Instead of drawing the blood to have that test done she choose not to even though she told me she did. 3 weeks later (now 14 weeks) I'm finding out she didn't not draw for this test. So now I'm back in the same position I was before and I'm very disappointed. She put me in the same position as the pervious doctor in complete disregard for how this could end for us. I switched doctors immediately. Not to mention they could not keep up with the amount of patients they had in the office. My appt was at 2:15 I didn't get seen till 3:45 and didn't leave until 5. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this office at all.

Questions & Answers

First time mothers should be able to have someone with them for every visit. Not make them wait outside.
