Very empathetic towards clients. Tailored to each clients needs. Takes the time with their clients to help identify and process situations. Overall extremely satisfied with the program and the therapists!

Extremely problematic facility. Arguably just a minimum security jail with worse food. Run by the lifer clients, no programming, poorly run, fights break out nightly, staff is overworked because it’s entirely understaffed. Multiple staff members quit in the week I was there. They served single donuts for breakfast multiple days in a row and couldn’t afford to keep cereal and milk available. Bible study is seemly number one and if you don’t accept AA or the Bible don’t expect to make it thru the 28 days. I was there for 8 days and didn’t get ONE therapy session after asking to meet a counselor multiple times. Then was woken up at 4am one day and dropped off at the Erie bus station with no explanation or discharge plan. My heart goes out to the people in there struggling to deal with addiction while this facility profits off of their misfortune. Shame on the administration, this place should not be allowed to operate under these conditions.

French Creek saved my life. They were the only place that would take me for detox and I will be forever grateful for them! Thank you 🙏🏼

Hi Srephanie, we have general quiet hours but clients may walk around as long as staff is aware.
Yes, in designated areas.
Most of our groups include both male and female clients but we do offer some gender-specific programming.
Hi Jill, yes, we work with both men and women.
Billy, we have both men and women on campus but they are housed separately.
Hi Deborah, while our counselors may address secondary mental health issues in relation to addiction, we are not a dual diagnosis center.
