I love this reptile store. They always have something new. Whenever I see a reptile on Clints reptiles on YouTube and he says the odds of seeing this reptile in person are low. I see that reptile at Reptile Roadhouse. If they don't have what you are looking for they will find it for you. Friendly and helpful staff.

Amazing, knowledgeable staff. Mind-blowing selection of reptile pets. Most importantly for my family, they board reptiles! Travelling is easy with competent, inexpensive boarding for our pet leopard gecko!

I was last here on July 24, and I'll retell it from the beginning. My boyfriend and I walked into Reptile Roadhouse, initially to buy a female crested gecko for our male, but we also paroused around to look at their stock. They had lots of things that we haven't seen. They also had food that I had been looking for. But, that's not why I write this review. I write this review because, when we walked in, we were never greeted. Both male employees couldn't have been bothered to greet either of us. So, as we walked around to gaze at their poorly cared for lizards and snakes, I had noticed that the male employees were talking amongst themselves as to when we would leave. Not something customers like hearing. We still walked around because my boyfriend hadnt heard them talking, and I didnt say anything because I'm not one for conflict. After walking around the store for about 20 minutes, I grabbed the food I had wanted and we walked up to the counter. Once there, the male behind the counter was snooty, and didn't really seem to want to help us. He still did, though he huffed. The other male, looked unclean and stared me down, making me feel quite uncomfortable. We had asked if they had female crested geckos, and they said they have juveniles that are female. Now, you can't tell the gender of a crested gecko until after a year. We had mentioned this to the employee, and he refused to speak further about the crested gecko juveniles they had. (I know I read a comment by the owner that they won't sell you a reptile if the employee thinks you can't care for it, but this is not the case. We know what we're talking about.) Then, after asking about female cresties, we asked for crickets. Our male crestie eats three crickets every couple of days, but we don't like to bulk buy because we like to give our crestie variety, as you should when keeping them in a tank. Anyways, I looked over to the still staring, unclean male employee and asked for medium size crickets. Not a difficult task, but he STILL manages to bring me small ones, and the other employee had the audacity to say "We don't really get crickets". Yeah, okay. Tell that to all the crickets spread across 6 tanks, and those were all medium. Not only that, but we requested six crickets, because as I said, we don't like to bulk buy crickets. We were forced to buy 12, but I looked the day after we got them, and only 3 - 4 made it after a night of having them. What a waste of $12. They both stared us down and both of them made me feel very uncomfortable. I wouldn't return to this store, not for crickets or reptiles. The employees might know enough to care for the reptiles they have in stock, but they definitely shouldn't be making decisions on who they can and can't sell to, because the ones we spoke to seemed not to know enough about crested geckos to even continue talking about them to us. Definitely unprofessional and unkind employees. I guess do better next time. Also, lock your car doors and windows. It's dangerous out there compared to where I live. Very sketchy area. Edit: I'm writing it now because my last review of this place wasn't thorough and it was a little rude, so I deleted it, but I'm still very upset at our experience. And I already know I'm in for it as I've read past replies from the owner, and I read part of his/her reply on my now deleted review. ⚰️

A couple of weeks ago I came to this store and bought a snake I did not intend on getting. I was planning on getting a corn snake but fell in love with a Black African House Snake who's name came to mind as soon as I got him. My experience here was so amazing, as they let me hold snakes, pet their Rhino Iguana, and let me nerd out over all the cool reptiles I was seeing. The staff was so kind and answered all my questions without hesitation. These people truly are the best of the best. EDIT: The snake's name is Jet, and he is the most curious and adorable thing ever. Whenever I boop his nose he always goes up and boops mine back.
