Their service is pathetic. They cannot keep their commitments. My friendβs car is literally stuck there for days without any progress. They do not communicate and cannot keep their commitments. Horrible service!!!!

You're most of the time not disappointed by what you find but mostly by what you expected to find so the key is to manage your expectations. BMW 5 star service, so I had great expectations. However this service center didn't even have 1 star service. I'll try to be brief and not mention every failure. On Saturday, August 27, 2022, I brought my vehicle into Bayside BMW service center and spoke with Peter the service agent. I told Peter I was getting a message of transmission failure and on more than three occasions, while stopped at a red light the transmission on its own jumped out of drive into park. They kept the vehicle, diagnosed it and contacted me on Friday, September 2, saying they could not find anything wrong with the vehicle and it was ready for pick up. So not counting the weekend, they had the vehicle for four days. Nothing found but charged me $217.00 for diagnostic fee. I picked the vehicle up on Saturday, Sept 3rd. Before I got home a twenty to twenty-five minute drive the vehicle jumped into park and I got the same transmission failure notification. I took a photo of the notification, called Peter and took the vehicle back the same day. Peter said the photo would be great and just what the technician needed. (If they needed a photo I wasn't told this and why then charge me a diagnostic fee). To make a long story short It took them till September 21st (18 days) to approve me for a loaner vehicle. I had made several calls, sent an email in an attempt to speak with a service manager. To this day no one has called me back except for Peter with excuses. Today is Tuesday, October 4th, (38 days later), I still have not heard from a manager and I still have not received my car back from repair. Disappointed and Disgusted This BMW service center gets an epic fail. Thank you for your response, but is there any explanation as to why I could not speak with a manager after several attempts, I never received a call back.

I can't really comment on this business because I've tried to do business with them but can't get a single service advisor to call me back. Why do you have them if they are not advising? I call them and someone from the call center picks up without any knowledge on how to answer my questions. So how can I proceed to schedule an appointment for my car? Also, as part of the process of advising, I'd like to better understand how long these things take because I too have a life that I need to balance and move things around so I can expect to sit around for a few hours while my car is being serviced.

Normal brake service is around 15k-30k. Depending on your warranty it might be covered, warranty depends on the package you purchased when you purchased the vehicle. You need to either stop by or call in.
You should definitely give them a call. They will be more than happy to help you.

All BMW service center can order for you, but DO NOT go to this BMW service center. You will be regret.
