If I could give negative stars I would. Most unprofessional and rude collective group of individuals I have ever encountered. Even in a city such a Baltimore, where the population is generally more rough and brash than most American cities, the employees of the Maryland State Anatomy Board take it to another level.

I am appalled with the unethical, unprofessional experience I am having with the State Anatomy Board. My relative passed a week ago. Just after midnight, we contacted the State Anatomy Board within 24 hours. We called and requested an extension, they granted a 48 hours extension to hold relative, inwhich the office confirmed my name, had to and contact information. Within 48 hours, to arrange the pick up, we were informed that they had no record of the call. I listened to the rude supevisor provide info. about the next ceremony, and how people not acting responsible. The family will be reimbursing the state fees. After the lecture. I provided my relatives name, which I was informed our relative was sent to be cremated and given the number to the crematory. After speaking with the technician who was kind and very informative about the services and fees, he then stated our relative was confirmed cremated and the remains was sent back to the State Anatomy Board. Called back to State Anatomy Board, the supervisor demeanor was much nicer and was informed they found my request for the extension. She reached out to her dorector and rhe fees for our relativevremains would be waived. She stated my relative was not there and to contact the crematory office. Because they stated our relative was not at the crematory. Spoke with the office staff at the crematory, she stated they have no record of my relative. Called back and spoke with the technician, who confirmed he was in fact at the State Anatomy Board. At this point, two relatives decide to leave work to go to State Anatomy Board, upon arrival was turned away, stating the office closed a little early. We are now seeking legal counsel.
