We were looking forward to our meal. Wow talk about the wind coming out of our sails. Outside of desert which was good the food was bad. The final plate (before desert) was inedible. We also had the wine pairing (my wife the "standard" and me the "chef’s" pairing). The pairings were ok, there was however an odd pairing. One courses pairing was a cocktail. It was a total flop. The one positive of the evening was the staff. They were great. They were knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

A shout out to the bartender for making my wife an son an excpetional mocktail. The progression menu was fantastic & looking forward to what they come up with next.

I find a month in advance usually works
The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm practices all guidelines the Virginia Department of Health and the CDC recommend. Our staff has been trained in providing excellent and safe service. They all wear masks. We clean and sanitize all surfaces before and between seatings, provide sanitizer for the customer and take temperatures of all staff and guests. We limit the number of seated diners and maintain appropriate distance between all tables. When the weather is suitable, we can seat outdoors. We ask that our guests also help us by wearing a face covering for their safety and the safety of others when entering, exiting, going to the restroom or walking around the property at our restaurant. If a guest has been exposed to COVID-19 or any variant, has a fever or generally does not feel well, we ask that the reservation be cancelled. Our utmost goal is to make sure everyone has a safe experience.
