Will not be returning here. Waited over 2 hours to be taken back, the staff was aloof, dermatologist seemed annoyed to be there let alone answer questions. She walked in without a hello and invalidated my concerns. The whole place just has negativity written all over it, do not recommend at all.

I have gone for my annual checkup and found two spots that were questionable. One came back okay and the other I had to wait because it was swollen. I get the biopsy and get a call from the nurse in Edgewood that it was cancer and need to make an appointment to have a procedure. When I go to the office at Optiz the nurse there says it was pre cancer and not cancer. For two weeks I was a wreck until I went to my appointment in Optiz. When I went to the office they told me my copay was $40 dollars and I told them it was $30.00. I was told I would not be seen unless I paid the $40.00 dollars. I told the desk person I wanted the manager and had to wait over 40 minutes then get it straighten out and finally saw the doctor 2 hours later then my appointment. I use sick time for these appointments and lost 3 hours because of this. I have several issues with payments not being applied and still trying to get it straighten out.

They scheduled me for an appointment that was 2 months away and literally the day before the appointment they called me to cancel it because the doctor was going to be out. They said they wouldn’t have another available appointment until another 2 months. I was very upset because they have no idea how patiently I waited for the appointment I had first scheduled. And I really looked forward to it because I thought i was going to finally get the medical help I need for my cystic acne. Don’t waste your time with this place because they’re very inconsiderate of other peoples time. In those 2 months that I waited for my appointment here I could’ve had already been seen by another office.
