Foode is beyond good! I had the Fredericksburger with Truffle and Asiago style fries which absolutely blew me away. The staff were all incredibly genial and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Now I have a reason to come back to Fredericksburg!

My husband and I decided to go to Foode for our anniversary. We enjoyed the wine, our very likable server, the 5-star fried green tomatoes, my husband's interesting green curry grit entre. Sadly, my tomato pie was so salty it was barely edible. I should have traded it in for another stack of 5-star FGTs. Instead I left with a bad, I mean, salty taste in my mouth

I wasn't terribly impressed with their customer service, although it wasn't BAD. I'm not sure I was looked in the eye more than once [between 4 different staff] and my companion was waited on with much more frequency than myself. Food was OK. Didn't try any cocktails.

Stopped here for breakfast and ordered the vegan bowl and Vegetarian breakfast tacos. The tacos were my favorite, an interesting twist with crispy shredded Potato on the top, herb scrambled egg, salsa, and seasonal veggies. I really enjoyed it and the portion size was bigger than the vegan bowl. The bowl had the most perfect crispy Potatos, and a tasty vegan chorizo. I wish It had a bit more of the Tahiti sauce and was a little bigger, but it was still yummy. The restaurant was classy, an old bank converted to a food joint. This would be a great date spot. You can even dine inside the old vault!
