Lovely local shop well stocked with notions, instruction books and magazines, and an wonderful selection of beautiful yarns. Joanna is a warm and welcoming proprietress, and other patrons are friendly and helpful. Learners can sign up for (paid.) lessons or you can bring a project to the weekly knit nights and get a nickel's worth of free of advice-- either virtually or in person.

We are allowed 5 customers at a time per Maryland guidelines. When we hit 5 people we run down and put a sign up and lock the door. We are also disinfecting railings, doorknobs and countertops, and disinfectant is available at the door. Everyone in the shop is required to wear a mask at all times, and we are not currently permitting customers to sit and hang out at the table (we are absolutely available for quick fixes and questions).
We do! We’re working on the fall schedule now, but for the rest of the summer we’re happy to schedule individual lessons at your convenience. Just give the shop a call!

There's a little lot next door and a big garage right down the street for parking. I wouldn't worry too much about traffic if you come on Sunday afternoon. Ssk is two blocks from the Bethesda metro so that's an option too. Both groups are very welcoming.
