A small, but impressive and powerful museum. It is not easy to deal with preserved organs and embryos. Not for small children

Had a great experience visiting the museum. Love how various anatomical and medical-related artifacts are preserved. I so much love the sight of the microscope collections, especially the Hooke's Microscope!

Great museum. But it can be a bit boring sometimes throughout the exhibits. I don't recommend bringing a date here unless you guys are really into health.

One of the most interesting museums I have ever visited. This place is awesome

No need. It is located outside the base open to the public.
Entry is free.
There parking lot is definitely large enough for buses but I would call ahead and make sure that it is okay to park a bus in their parking lot.
I wouldn't. The displays are of severed organs and often sickness or malady. I would steer clear of here. The museum is really intended for adults and those interested in health.
Not sure what you mean by amenities? It's got a nice, big parking lot and spacious bathrooms.

Following the autopsy, the museum collected Wirz's radius and ulna, the axis and atlas vertebrae, and a portion of the sternocleidomastoid muscle. The arm bones were kept to examine Wirz's claims about the limited use of his arm due to an old injury, and the other materials were kept to document the effects of hanging to demonstrate that the vertebrae were not damaged, though the muscle (which attaches just behind the ear on the skull to the top of the sternum) was torn.
As a DoD museum we are not able to provide appraisals. If you would like to talk with one of our collections managers about this item, please contact us through our website at http://www.medicalmuseum.mil.
Currently the museum is closed for safety and health precautions. When we re-open, we will be open seven days a week from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. We have exhibits related to innovation in American military medicine.
Yes! The staff are very friendly and you shouldn't have a problem with bringing your child. And it is! The staff is very friendly and you should not have any problems with you bringing your child!

No, nobody is buried here. They do have human remains, but simply for scientific study. They have fragments of Abraham Lincoln's skull. No, no one is buried here. They have human remains, but simply for scientific study. They have fragments of the skull of Abraham Lincoln
Yes. I think so. You'll have to Google the museum for more info.
There is no charge for visiting the museum and there is no charge for parking 🅿 at the museum.
Yes it's open. They are funded by DOD who already have funds for the year. No need to call, just go. They are open every day Monday-Sunday 10am tp 530 PM . Only day they close is Christmas.
Free
The parking lot is fairly large and the museum is rarely crowded, so finding two open head-to-head spaces is possible. But no dedicated truck and trailer parking.
