Our train had mechanical issues, so we had to go back to Union Station. We sat there for an hour or more at Union Station, and they had no idea how long it would be before the issue would be fixed. We ended up taking the VRE into our destination of Manassas. Taking the VRE cost us extra money for the 4 of us and we have tried calling Amtrak for almost a week with no response. So annoying and irresponsible on Amtrak to treat their customers this way. Bad service!!!

Theres a parking lot half a block away thats designated for long term parking. I believe its called the triangle lot, left at the stop sign if you are facing the train station.
