The website is total junk, it does not let you set up your account because it does not recognize the Notice number (saying it's invalid even though it is exact number as on the notice), and then it locks you out because of too many attempts!?!?. Also, it does not let you reset the username or password, because no reset email for days. By that time I am already late for payment. Old website was working just fine, why do we create websites that are worse then the old version!

This DC government place and its customer service is despicable! You can spend and waste a lot of time in here. Apparently the Recorder of Deeds office is on the 5th floor and decided when they want to venture down to the 2nd floor in order to fulfill any tickets. I see so many people walking around, sitting around staring into the abyss, laughing & joking with their coworkers but NOT helping or assisting anyone. It’s weird and disrespectful.

I have been attempting to obtain a certificate of clean hands for 3 weeks. I have sent countless emails, called and spoken with several people, and continually attempted to use the online portal. The online portal does not accept out of state Clean Hands requests, they almost NEVER respond to emails, and every time you attempt to call they just route you around to different departments and never give any answers. Several people have "Certified" my clean hands thru the phone, but that is the most useless thing ever. When would that be of use? I requested an email copy and they simply just cannot provide it. Due to delays with OTR my applications are becoming significantly delayed. How can an office not even perform a basic required job function? If you need a clean hands certificate for various business related applications, then it needs to be an actual attainable item. Absolute pitiful excuse for an entity.

Well, I have been waiting since the 8th of February 2019 for my approved refund payment. Just how long must I wait for an actual payment to hit my Bank?
Yes
I think they automatically send it to you
It usually takes 21 days
Same problem. Same hold. No answer.
You must make an appointment
Yes but ask them for sure
Yes
If you opt for a traditional 403b plan, you don't pay taxes on the money you pay, until you begin making withdrawals after you retire. If you receive distributions from a retirement account, you'll receive form 1099-R
Sorry I haven't actually been to the place or call. I always use their website.
No, you can go inside just to drop off documents but no one is working in the offices.
Yes Call them a request another and asked about the deadline as well Once You Receive the Verification letter Details on it will help you complete the last step Online and the issues are fully completed.
Not sure. Think you need appointment right now
Just call... but I can't imagine why anyone would provide you with a fake one 🤔
No. The opposite. Go to dc.gov for a complete list of the changes.
LOL Unless they mail you a certified letter stating that. Other then that refunds are typically direct deposit or mail via paper check to addresses on file with.
