Agia Skepy is a little part of heaven on earth the Liturgy is so beautiful and the sound of the sisters when they are singing is like Angels. Dear God please bless them and protect them always πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™β€οΈ

Amazing monastery. The nuns radiate with the grace of God. The church chapel is breathtaking. The bookstore is filled with special items. This is the go to place for lambathas, wedding candles, Pascha candles, Boubounieres 😊❀️

I'm sure but you have to call the monastery and receive a blessing to attend.

What are visiting hours? Also is there a specific dress code for visitors?

The visiting hours are from 9 am to 6 pm and during all daily services. Women are to wear skirts below knee and sleeved shirts. Men are to wear long pants and sleeved shirts. No smoking, no picture taking, no free range kids.

I understood that there were baked goods for sale. Is this accurate? If so what are the details? Thank you

They have a few different breads and Greek cookies, and your best time to get them is the weekend, as more people attend and visit, and they have more for sale. I pray this is helpful 😊

What does it take to stay there

Call in advance for availability; you'll be asked if you're Orthodox (Christian) and if you've visited before. They ask that women wear ankle-length skirts/dresses, long-sleeved shirts, socks, shoes, and a head scarf. Bring bath towels and toiletries. I've never been told of a suggested donation, but I always leave a check at the bookstore. If you bring food, there is a kitchen with a fridge in the guest house. Their meals are fantastic.
