I was referred to Willy's Barber by a friend and I have had a great experience every time I went there. I also take my kids who now want specific and skill demanding haircuts. Thankfully the skilled guys there are willing to help and never disappoint us.

My first time going to Willy's will also be my last. Right away my barber barely spoke to me, which I later realized was simply due to a language barrier. That's totally fine, except for the fact he didn't understand what I said. After explaining that I wanted to keep my length on top and clean up the sides/my beard he ended up giving me a super high trip and took all but maybe an inch of hair off the top. He did the exact opposite of what I asked for and I spent months growing out my hair for no reason. I'll never go back to this barbershop.

This is my fourth time going here and I've generally had good haircuts, but I went today and asked for a 2 on the sides with a small amount off the top. I ended up with the majority of my hair gone off the top. Not a great look and certainly not the small amount I asked for. On top of that it was a $30 haircut. Wouldn't recommend this place without an appointment with one of the more experienced barbers here.

Beware, this is a cash-only place. They didn't tell me this until after the haircut, and if there's a sign saying so, it isn't prominently positioned. There's an onsite ATM (with a $3.50 fee), but I don't carry a debit/atm card, so I had to call my credit card to figure out how to obtain cash in a pinch. It's unbelievable that there are still places that don't accept credit cards. That said, the haircut I received was excellent and everyone was really nice. I'll go back, but with cash in hand.
