Having to deal with court stuff is not easy and it means that people have a lot of issues to solve already to have to deal also with a rude/uninformed assistants like Rachel. She was very rude at the phone while I was trying to get help with an inaccurate information in my record, she was contradicting me in a very angry way for something that I know for a fact and was precisely what I was trying to correct. If you work in customer service you need to listen carefully to solve the issue not just to have a reply.

The people there to help were not helpful and very dismissive when I was trying to explain my situation. I had a court date in a rent escrow case against my landlord, I paid the courts $47 in filing fees but apparently the paperwork was never served to the landlord and I didn’t receive notice of that until the day before court. I was told I could pay to file again but that there was still no guarantee that any paperwork would be served. I asked what I should do about the money I’ve already paid and the lady said she’s not trying to argue with me. One of the 2 security guards then barked out “HEY! that’s enough! You hear me?” I said “I hear you and I’m not trying to argue I just want to figure this out” he then told me I could leave so I left. Not a pleasant environment for a tax paying plaintiff, I can’t imagine how they treat the actual criminals around here!
