This cute little café has a charming atmosphere and the food was quite tasty. The main reason I'm not given them a higher rating is that the cashier proselytized while checking me out, which was quite unwelcome, because I mentioned that I was from out of state. The rest of my visit was nice though.

We got breakfast and coffee and were not very impressed. Our food took a very long time for just some egg sandwiches. We also ordered home fries because the reviews said they were good. They were unfortunately very cold. The portions were very small for the pricing. We had to ask three times for our coffee that ended up tasting burnt. They were unsure what they were serving us and asked us long after we ate if we got our food. Because the portions were small, we decided to get a danish. They heated in the microwave, forgot it, and heated it again. It couldn't be cut with a fork because of being so microwaved. Maybe it was just an off day, but the portions were way too small.

We each ordered an omelette and breakfast sandwiches. The service was excellent, and the ordering was merely adequate.

This place is a little gem in downtown SS. Really great tasting sandwiches and soups. Perfect for a quick lunch and very affordable. The owner is awesome too and her passion for cooking really comes through in the details of the food. Highly recommend.
