Questions & Answers

I would like to bring students in grades 8 thru 12 to tour the campus. How would I go about that?

Anne, Studio Tours have been put on hold for a while now...mostly because of the pandemic, but also for other reasons (e.g. construction). I don't know when they will start again.

Any tips on what to have before going for playtesting? I am 14 years old btw

It depends, are you a scheduled as a play tester or a back up play tester ? Either way there is a small cafe down in the lobby at EA....security is tight and keep the testing to yourself.. Good luck

How to request a tour

They do not offer public tours. There is allot of in-house development going on at all times and your required to badge in. Depending on your tenure you still dont have access to the entire building as some of the levels are completely restricted

Can college groups/clubs do tours. An see frist hand how the everyday life makings games.

You can contact tiburon to ask and they'll give your group one.

How can I become a video game tester and or get a low level starting job at EA

They recruit for QA all year but primarily January. You are much more likely to get a job if you have previous experience in QA or a game related degree. Try to find a recruiter and message them, listing your credentials and see if you can get an interview. That's how my husband got a job :) good luck!
