If your Tesla needs to go in for service, good luck! They keep your car forever, won't get back to you when they say they will. And when you reach out to them they just ghost you. We literally cannot get an answer on our Tesla, at this point I feel I should report it stolen. We might get it back sooner. In the meantime I'll just keep making my car payment while Tesla has my car.

Yes! Fair warning: you can never go back.
Ethics of this place is very bad. I had nothing but disappointment non stop for 2 years. 1. Invoice does not match to the work done on car. Invoice noted car was and vacuum done, however car was untouched both from outside and inside. This cause me question about other services noted in invoice. 2. They almost everytime happen to not have parts ordered months ago for my car, and i know about only when I reach on site for my scheduled appointment. Total waste of time. 3. Even after booking loaner Tesla one month in advance, rental ICE provided without any prior communications. This happened multiple times. 4. One time Tesla showed up at my office and took loaner Tesla and dumped ICE car with 1 hour prior call. I found out that they had to provide the loaner Tesla to another person. One day prior notice would have helped. 5. Loaner car always have less than 50% battery. I could barely make home with that amount of charge. Many more issues including damage to car during service etc
You probably need to take the car in for them to look at it. They also match Carmax offers if you have one.
They sell them on the Tesla website but they are pricey. $250

I bought one at the store when I picked up my car but the happened to have it in stock. They don't keep a lot in stock so often have to order it.

Well they lie about having the parts available even after confirming your appointment. Once there, the service reps will just plain lie to you about expected service times and services. For example, I have been there 3 times for a side camera, each time the ordered had come in. The last time in July, the part was ordered and should be there in a week. Well it's October now. No call, no update, no apology, just " we just don't give a f....k." Wrote a poor review in July and was never contacted by anyone at Tesla to find out what happened. It's like they just don't care about the customer.

They are normallu booked days out. So make sure you book way ahead of time.
Was there last Thursday (7/26) to pick up my Model 3. They had a red Model 3 on display in the showroom.
I called today and they said they do, there's even test drives for the Model 3! Got a reservation for one next week and I can't wait!

You don't upgrade. Trade the car in for a higher capacity model.
